No, if we receive your application twice, we will only consider your first application and exclude the second one from the process.

No, the “Women in Data” scholarship is only open to women with a permanent residence or permanent domicile in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

We strongly believe that all women should have equal opportunities to pursue a career as a data professional. That’s why we will give preference to women who often have a harder time accessing training in general and/or a career in data professions due to their career stage or professional experience, economic situation, or social background.

Feel free to email us at scholarship@stackfuel.com if you have any questions about this.

It is completely sufficient if you are on a B2 level or higher in one of those two languages.

If not, the answer is unfortunately no. We want to make sure that you fully understand the subject matter and can get through the course in a timely manner. It would be a pity if you had to cancel the training because of comprehension problems and thus deprive another interested person of the chance to participate.

We are sure that you have absolutely no reason to be afraid of the aptitude test and that you are welcome to give it a try. Otherwise, the answer is unfortunately no: We want to make sure that you have the necessary basic knowledge so that you can successfully complete the course in the planned time.

Training organization & procedure:
How can I participate?

No, the course is designed to be flexible in terms of time and to take place alongside your job. You can pursue your profession without restrictions and can choose your learning schedule to suit you best. If you have more time available, you can contact us by email and we will activate the learning content for the part-time version for you. In this variant you can complete the course within four weeks. Should you realize in the meantime that you need more time, you can also work on the content later.

The course takes place exclusively online on the StackFuel learning platform. All you need is a computer or laptop and Internet access. The PC does not have to meet any special technical requirements. We will send you your login data for the online learning platform via email shortly before the course starts.

As soon as you reply to our winner email, we will send you further information about the scholarship process. The course starts with a welcome webinar in which we introduce you to what you can expect in the coming weeks and you will get the chance to get to know the scholarship and training team. Throughout the course period, our dedicated mentoring team will be available to provide you with advice and support through weekly group webinars, support options via email, phone and forum, and regular check-ins. This ensures that we can support you during your course and help you if you have questions or problems. At the end of the course, you will complete a final project to prove what you have learned about data analysis. If you successfully pass the course, you will receive a course certificate from us.

By dividing the course into chapters, we want to give you the chance to spend no more than six to eight hours each week and to organize your course well. In our experience, this variant provides the best results, ensuring the compatibility with work and family and to give you enough space to let the learning content sink in. If you have more time available, the part-time option is a good option for you.

You can apply for the scholarship in German or English. You can also choose the course in German or English.

Yes, to participate in the course you need a working PC or laptop as well as internet access. This does not have to meet any specific technical requirements. Your browser should ideally have the latest browser version.

The course starts for all scholarship holders on 05.07.2021 and ends at the latest on 21.11.2021. Before the start of the course you can decide whether you want to do the course part-time  or part-time. If you choose the part-time option, you will work on one chapter per week, which should take you about six to eight hours per week. In the part-time version, the course runs for 16 weeks. In the part-time variant, you work on three chapters per week, for which you should set aside approx. 18 to 24 hours per week. In return, you will complete your course in just four weeks. For both variants, we have built in buffer times, when you can catch up on content if you haven’t found the time, were sick, or want to take a vacation. And don’t worry: If you choose the part-time option, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to finish after 4 weeks. If you realize in the meantime that you need more time, you can work on the content later. We just want to enable you to finish the course faster if you have more time available.

Yes, absolutely. Our courses are designed in such a way that you can complete them while working. If you have more time than six to eight hours per week, you can opt for our part-time version.

Basically, we recommend that you schedule six to eight hours per week for the course. When you want to schedule this time is up to you and is not prescribed by us. Part of the course involves webinars where you can ask our mentors questions, but you don’t have to attend if it doesn’t fit into your schedule.

Yes, we have designed the course to be flexible so that it’s possible to take time off. So you can decide for yourself when you want to dedicate yourself to the course content, no matter if you only have fifteen minutes a day or several hours. The course only has to be completed by 21.11.2021 at the latest. How you spread out your learning time is completely up to you.

If you get sick, you can of course suspend the training for this time. In order to maintain your flexibility, we have included a time buffer to allow you to catch up on the content you have missed.

No, there are no costs for you. Only if you do not have access to a computer and the Internet, you would have to take care of this yourself, which may involve costs. All course-related costs are covered by StackFuel and Telefónica Germany / o2.

No, the entire course takes place online in your browser via your PC or laptop. So you can access it comfortably from home or from any other place with internet access.

Yes, absolutely! If you have successfully passed the course, we will send you a course certificate at the end of the scholarship. You will receive this as a PDF as well as an option for a permanent link to integrate it on LinkedIn or XING, for example.
